After changing our initial idea and settling on the horror cabin story I am really pleased with our idea as I feel it is simple, but will hopefully work really effectively as we have a good location.
Following this, the sound will be easy to control and create as the cabin has a log burner so we can use the sound of that to create realism without using cliche horror sound effects.
Additionally, because our location is inside we can keep all the actors in one place and due to the party atmosphere we are going to aim to create we can use all the edible props to feed the actors with, which is will help keep them interested.
I feel that when we are actually doing the filming though we should take as many different shots a possible so that we know we have lots and lots of material to use, which will hopefully avoid us from needing to go and re-film.
Overall though I am very excited and happy with our idea and look forward to developing it and beginning filming.
